Deutsche Aircraft Quarterly Newsletter Q4/2025
As 2025 comes to an end, I’m proud to share the remarkable progress and milestones that have defined this year at Deutsche Aircraft. From forging new partnerships to advancing our sustainability mission, here’s what we’ve achieved together.
Strategic Partnerships Driving Innovation
We teamed up with Akkodis and Expleo to speed up the D328eco® programme's development and support, reaffirming our commitment to schedule and quality.
Strengthening Our Team
We welcomed Alexander Tesch as Vice President Customer Support & Service, who will lead our global customer support organisation with a clear vision to elevate the customer experience across both legacy and future platforms. His mission is to ensure best-in-class support for existing D328® operators while preparing for the successful entry into service of the D328eco.
This quarter, we also appointed Ernst-Georg Schröder as Final Assembly Line Manager. His extensive production and operational leadership experience will be instrumental as we prepare for the industrialisation phase at our Leipzig facility.
To strengthen our Part 147 training for the future, we announced the promotion of Florian Luithlen as Director of Training, who will be responsible for the comprehensive rebuild and growth of our training organisation. A central pillar of this mandate is the development and market introduction of our new simulator training solutions.
Operational Excellence and Automation at the Final Assembly Line
Our logistics operations are entering a new era of efficiency with Jungheinrich’s advanced automation solutions, including the space-saving PowerCube container storage system and an automated narrow aisle warehouse (AutoVNA). This comprehensive solution will enhance sustainability and scalability.
Global Engagement and Market Expansion
In November, we hosted the landmark Wings of Opportunity Summit in New Delhi, in collaboration with partners Aerospace India Association, Cyient, Dynamatic Technologiesand and SASMOS HET. This event brought together key stakeholders from the aviation, government and investment sectors to foster dialogue on sustainability and shape the future of regional aviation in India.
At the ATAC Conference & Tradeshow, we presented the D328eco as a next-generation turboprop designed to serve remote communities, support economic growth and meet Canada’s environmental goals.
Celebrating Milestones
We marked a significant achievement with the Richtfest topping-out ceremony for our state-of-the-art Final Assembly Line in Leipzig, which was attended by key stakeholders including Weerts Group, Leipzig/Halle Airport and German government officials. This milestone sets the stage for the future production of the D328eco.
In a major step forward for the D328eco programme, we also received the first PW127XT-S developmental engines for our TAC 1 test aircraft. This latest variant of Pratt & Whitney Canada’s PW100 family continues to set the benchmark for regional turboprop propulsion.
Community and Wellbeing
Our team proudly supported Movember this year, raising awareness for men’s health. We actively support personal wellbeing and social responsibility in the workplace and our Movember mission is to build camaraderie, encourage friendly competition and raise funds and awareness for a cause that affects everyone.
Looking Ahead
s we prepare for 2026, our focus remains on advancing the D328eco programme — from the ground and system testing of TAC 1 to completing our Final Assembly Line. With our dedicated team and strong partnerships, we are confident in achieving the next milestones. The progress made this quarter clearly shows what we can accomplish with a shared vision. Thank you for your continued contribution as we work to secure the future of regional aviation.
We are also looking forward to welcoming many of our customers to our headquarters and increasing our participation at key industry events next year. This growing engagement is a direct result of our expanding portfolio and the significant market interest in the D328eco.
As the year draws to a close, I wish you and your loved one’s joy, peace, and time to celebrate together. Thank you for being part of our story. I look forward to continuing our journey in 2026 with renewed energy and ambition.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! – Frohe Weihnachten und ein glückliches neues Jahr!
Warmest regards,
Nico Neumann
